An Ellie visit.........

Ellie has just left after spending a few very special days with us. We missed you Jordan......my apologies; I have just realised I forgot to send the piece of pudding back for you. Oh dear; I shall save it!
Miss you already Ellie, but thanks for the lovely times together.

Ellie completed her Bachelor of Creative Industries (Drama) a couple of years ago but was only now able to participate in her official graduation ceremony at South Bank in Brisbane. We were even prouder to find out that she graduated with Distinction.....she kept that secret well. It was great that my Mum was able to also be here, so together with Anisia, friends Tyson & Rachael and m-in-law (aka Milly aka Kay) we had a wonderful day together.

Ellie's beautiful new piano

It was great to see and hear the sound of Ellie's brand new piano while we were down in Adelaide for my nephew Hamish & Beth's wedding. It was a quick 2-night trip but wonderful to catch up with so many family members.Posted by Picasa

Our beautiful God-children

It was GREAT to catch up with our God-daughter Jessie and God-son Kerran for a special Sunday lunch in North Adelaide before we flew home.....I'm even more excited to know that they (and their parents, my sister and her husband) will be flying up in December for my big "0" birthday. Yay!Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday Dad

Timing worked out perfectly as it was my Dad's 76th birthday on Sunday, the day after the wedding. Ellie made this most scrumdiddlyumptious cake....we were fighting over the extra pieces....great cooking Ellie, but sad that we didn't get to eat those famous Jordan cinnamon scrolls. The scales however told a sad story this morning, so it was a Miso soup day for me!Posted by Picasa

The most amazing burger meal

At lunch yesterday, this was the Najjar special.....ordered by Jordan and Nathan's brother-in-law Sean. Nathan's sister Evonne and baby son Reuben also joined us for a yummy Sunday lunch. Posted by Picasa

Go Jordan

Sadly some of this made it into a "doggy bag".......a meal to remember!Posted by Picasa
