Thanks Rikki for your help........such high tech stuff this having wireless networks amongst all of the computers that live in this house!!!! We had some frustrated students to boot with no Internet! The trick is that if you are having probs with your computer and need technical support you phone Dick Smith on 1300 660054 and they are marvellous. I bought our new modem router from them and they are a free service, and step you through everything. Kevin is currently in Sydney with an entourage of "cheerleading" girls from Trinity, for the national cheerleading comp....which they have either won or come second at in previous years. Kevin is there till Thursday....has managed to catch up with Cheyne and Mel, who have shown him their new rented house, and new car I also believe....yet to find out details but I'd say it would have to be another Holden. I have this 2 weeks off yay.......have had NO luck finding anything to wear for Cheyne's wedding......Neish has some news to share when she gets back online, so you'll have to get it first hand from her. Lovely to catch up with Lisa Stapleton at church on Sunday, with boyfriend Andrew. Lisa will now stay indefinitely here in Australia, after the family's amazing 7-week world trip. Blog pics of their travels are amazing.......glad also to hear that Lisa reads my rantings........also Nicole in England hello. I think these people all love to read about "HOME" even if it seems mundane to us. Three weeks now till Cheyne's wedding, or I should say a fortnight this Saturday. We're all looking forward to being in Sydney with almost ALL of our family members. Unlike Ellie's wedding where there were minimal rellies, there will be a barrage at Cheyne's. We're staying 3 nights; fly down Friday evening and home Monday evening, so will have 2 days after the wedding to look around Sydney and catch up with everyone. Very exciting! OK enough for now....gotta go and defrag my notebook.....don't you love all the computer jargon. Sounds like I know what I'm doing. Hello Tim Doecke at Ellie's in Adelaide....hope you're enjoying their hospitality and cooking.....Ellie's becoming quite the little expert.

You're very technamalogical, Anne. All this jargon has left me dizzy. Indeed we do enjoy hearing about the 'mundane' happenings of the home front. Thanks for keeping us 'in touch' with your goings-on.
Ellie is indeed an expert at this cooking thing - after much study at 6pm in your home on many an evening, I am certain it is in her genes. Thank you! I have enjoyed many a Scholz recipe these last few months!
Where are you at with your PhD thinking? It's not a bad thing to want to have it...I know you're capable. Just hope you get the support you deserve if you persist.
Is it humid up there yet? I bet this Summer you'll be reaping the benefits of your insulation!
Ok. Hope to talk soon. Perhaps we'll have to book a time to call you and officially 'catch up'. Bye for now.

He could download webmesssenger, methinks (which doesn't require 'downloading', it's like running a program from the internet, so you can do it even if the computer has blocked you from downloading).
:D Though he would be opposed to it saying 'I have to work, Ellie, I can't just talk on msn', only because he wants to give the impression that he works 40 hours when REALLY he works 20...and I work 10! :D
Ellie is cooking okay. Jordan made a nice meal the other night so that Tim could go home and say that he cooks. He accidentally wore the 'Hers' apron...hehe
Yes, everyone loves reading blogs...and procrastinating. You know Sarah loves reading blogs, right? Especially yours. I think we just enjoy seeing the fun, reflective and emotive sides of people that we don't see in our everyday-ness. I mean I snuck a peak at a blog of one of the girls at youth and it's just like opening the door to the rabbit hole...you see inside their minds, because they write as if no one is listening and hope that everyone is.
:)
I should update.
Love you lots.
Ellie
