Wow....In 4 weeks today we'll be off to China. A dream come true. I have always wanted to go to China and I'm sure it'll be all I ever dreamed it would be. Sam and Selina are busy booking internal flights for us; Meryl Siggs is putting us up in Shanghai .....thanks Meryl...and with some work frustrations for Kevin, I know he'll be all to pleased to have the break. looking forward to the colder weather there too, and hoping for a white Christmas in Chengdu (or as close to Chengdu as we can find snow!). Mostly we are spending time in Chengdu which is the main city in Sichuan Province (where all the hot and spicy food comes from....YAY); have a flight to Shanghai and also to KwanMin (spelling???) which is a very ancient city with many Minority People. We'll be staying with Selina's parents in Chengdu (who speak no English) but I believe her Mum is a great cook!!!! I can't wait for Chinese hotpot(maybe a mild version of), and her version of Kim Chee. Posted by Picasa
Yay....a new treadmill....I can walk off 600calories in under 1/2 an hour...just need to have the elevation right up and walk pretty fast.....but brilliant. Kevin didn't want to pose as he says this is for me!!!! Have been using it twice a day.....loads of sweat but gee it feels great. Turning into an exercise junkie. Posted by Picasa
At last the weights are getting used...... Posted by Picasa

I can't resist family pics.....stole this from Ellie's blog.......This was all of us minus Mel and Cheyne down in Sydney for their wedding. It's not often enough that we all get together, so I think in future years we will cherish such memories, as we did in Sydney. Posted by Picasa

Our Family Trivia night last night went off brilliantly....we had about 75 people, lots of fun, great prizes, and such a relief that everyone really enjoyed all the questions and format for the night...I'd put a lot of energy into devising all the questions, Powerpoints etc. And we made about $400 for the church coffers as well. Pics are mainly for you Ellie.....I think I missed a few tables....Anisia took most of the photos. Posted by Picasa

A BIG surprise visit from the honeymooners!!!!!!!!!! Cheyne and Mel turned up on our doorstop for a beautiful surprise on Wednesday night, so last night we went up to Brisbane to show them Anisia's new apartment and to take them all out to dinner. Cheyne and Mel head off this morning with still another week of honeymoon adventures ....................................... and the other news is that we have booked our tickets for SA for Easter 2007....looking far ahead I know but if you get in early the tickets are very cheap. So we will be staying in Adelaide from the Thursday till the Wednesday after Easter at Ellie & Jordan's but spending some good quality time also with Rikki, Kristin, Joshua and Simeon. Very exciting!!!! .................................................Oh and we were very sad to see the hugeness of Anisia's bruising on her thighs and arm from her recent biking/car accident.....the biggest bruises I've seen. An angel was certainly looking after her.Love you Neish. Posted by Picasa
.......we ate out at a Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant at West End....... Posted by Picasa
