Okay. Number one: that meat is a SERIOUS health and safety issue. I don't care how cold it is. And you should also ask what meat it is...one slab of meat looks remarkably akin to a rat.
Two: don't take photos in sacred spaces! Mama, you're so naughty! Imagine how offended we'd feel if they stuck their little high tech cam corders on at communion!!! You make me laugh. You're so like Anisia. Or vice versa.
So have you seen Bing also? I thought she was upset because you WOULDN'T get to see her?
That bridge looks super scary. I'm betting Mama didn't set foot on it, given your nightmares about driving off the Paringa bridge.
Looks like you're just having a ball! Everything looks so intricate, but it's hard to separate the awe from my impression of Chinese stuff: cheap crap (products), so I look at some monuments and think, 'It's Chinese, it's made of plastic'. Hard to imagine what it's really like. Would help to hear the history/techniques etc. I'm sure Sam and Selina are LOVING showing you around!
We had a great time for New Years'. We played softball on the oval (Nanna picked up some gear from Ross' school) and then just hung out until it clicked over. This morning Poppa drove us around Lake Bonney and Nanna filled us up with left over Mississippi (made especially for Jordan's surprise birthday lunch on the 31st) before we headed off to take the scenic route through the Barossa.
All in all a great time. Kay mentioned many times how welcome our family has made her feel and how she's 'gained a family' - she's really loving it here and spoiling us rotten!
Okay, love you both very much. Keep blogging! I love following your travels :D
Will blog soon and see you SOON!!!
    Lots of love,
    Ellie

I remember similar scenes in South East Asia - some things never change!
